Well I left Marshfield Saturday morning and deadheaded to Baraboo and switched to my loaded trailer (6300lbs) light load very light .Well a man has to do what he has to do so I headed into the storm going to Denver Co. The roads in Wisconsin were ok, there were a couple of cars in the ditches but the road was clear and I was moving along at the posted speed until I crossed into Minnesota and climbed the hill . The roads were not clear but still passable and the wind picked up and it was sleeting . I got as far as Dexter Mn and the trailer was sliding sideways so I pulled into the truck stop and watched the storm and ice build up . Sunday morning it took until 10 am to get out of the truck stop the snow and ice under it I just couldn't get rolling .with a little help from a front end loader I took off and was able to get to I35 and that was well salted . Iowa was not as good but it did improve for a while and the four wheelers were getting careless and I come up on a underpass that didn't look good and the accident on the other side was a clue so I turned on the four way flasher and started to slow way down and the idiots in the SUV came flying by and hit the ice and as the people inside were going sideways at 70 mph toward the bridge supports all I saw was eyes as wide as saucers! I think that it'll take some time to get the Oder out of that SUV!!!!
